Individuals - volunteers & advocates

Got this far and really excited but not running a venue/ space?

We need people on the ground in the city feeding back the best and worst experiences in party spaces.

We need every part of the culture - from DJs, musicians, promoters, activists and party people to friends and neighbours to help us shape and deliver the work.

To keep this moving forward we need to reach out and talk about changing the culture, lots of people want to get on board - wherever we go people want to find out more.

There are many ways to get involved.

Naturally front-facing? Help us run talks and workshops to raise awareness in communities and public spaces, we can train you at your own pace.

Better behind the scenes? We need help with admin, bookings and promotion.

Talk about us wherever you go to party. Tell your friends. Chat about us in the queue!

We can’t do this alone, we’re all connected, Bristol people use a range of services and spaces. This is about us owning and running the places we all use with a collective vision of less harm and more fun. It’s shared imagining that’s overdue and has to happen.

When 90% of girls in school say they regularly experience sexual harassment (Ofsted 2021), we know we have a problem and it’s beyond clubs and pubs.

From schools and universities to workplaces and social spaces the same principles apply - we set up the norms and reinforce them - and we can and must change them.

Join the Collective Yes Hub to share practice, training and learning - and we can support you to develop a 360 degree approach to changing your organisation’s culture too.

Support us to gather evidence of what we do and how we impact, help us grow Collective Yes - for example, we need expertise and resources around training, promotion, and connections.

We’re a critical learning organisation and are proud to be a ‘work in progress.’

Let's get together and make less harm and more fun.
